Well i went to cecil county dragway today to get a 13.5 lol and i ended up with 14.3's not because my car got slower (on highway it is faster than ever) but because my clutch starting to slip. all because of a 2.8 pulley and high flow cat lol :p i left the line perfect no wheel hop then all i hear is my car whining but not moving, i got her into 4th with barely any movement so i down shift into 2nd and got a 14.3 lol WTF anyways after 3 runs with shitty 60fts 2.9's i just said it is over im done for now I met 2 cool guys in sentra's while i was there (new body's) the one guy had a spec v (he didnt race becasue he is into autocross) but i raced his friend with a 2.0 sentra 5 speed turbo so as we were leaving they followed me. this guy got his sentra dynoed at 275 whp an 260 tq
he ran a 13.8 at 105 anyways we did 2 40's a 60 and a 30 + a dig i won them all but the dig (my clutch did not slip thoe) every time ide jump a full car or more and he would catch up but never get within a half car of me(he needs linger gears). HE WAS FAST if i didnt have stage 2 he would beat me badly i raced him all the way up to 130 and from the 60 roll we went down a hill and he even got next to me until we got level ground again. i think if he had more boost or longer gears he would have done alot better.... so some good and some bad ide rather make new friends and prove it on the highway any day then going to the track and embarrasing myself and all redlines/cobalt ss all because gm put the wrong tranny in this car

so time for new clutch flywheel, engine/tranny mounts, new axles and DOT radials, and some coilovers are goin on order soon one thing at a time thoe!

I feel you bro, I am having trouble w/ the 1-2 shift. If I shift at 7000K I get some slippage. My remedy to that is to shift at 6500K and I seem to grip fine. I have no problems anywhere else. This is 1st - 2nd only.

I raced this old body turbo porche a few moments ago. Convertable. He was a ricer, I busted his ass twice in short spurts. We get to a light and I want to line up w/ the cat but he cuts over and just takes off. I punched it, but I was doing like 25 in 2nd. He got a decent lead on me but I evened out and even started pulling went to shift into third and missed that ****! ******* got it in gear and started pulling again he put his hand up like, "come on come on" When I got in the 5000+ range I started pulling again. Shifted into 4th still pulling he still putting his hand up, then I think he realized I was almost caught up and he ******* stopped like a newb! We where already doing 120 and there was nothing on the road at all! I was so pissed. Anyway IM just cruising and hes way behind me and the light in front of me turns yellow I slammed on my breaks and waited for him. At first he acted like he was turning off, but then shot up to the line with me (YES!) ******* time to prove my self. GREEN!::: Both punched it, but I just went ghost got to end of 1st ::ShIfT:: :CHIRP:: more ghost ::Blink:: ::Squint:: is that him? ::Slow down:: LOL. Ate that dude alive. He wouldnt come up any more so I hoped in the turn lane to pop a U'ie and as soon as he passed me he went ghost. What a noob.

IM not even going to talk about the RX8 that I ate alive. I mean, I could slow down let him pass at WOT and then punch it and easily catch up and pass. I embarrassed that guy severly. His friend in the passenger side was laughing I know when I passed him at 6900K he was like ::HOLY ****:: Cause Even I said that **** my car was screaming so loud.
