Does anyone know if an HHR ss tanny will work in a Cobalt ss LNF. Ive been reading around some ppl say it will and wont. Ive heard the gear ratios or different in the hhr ss. Can anyone Prove that it will work in a cobalt ss. thanks

 

Should be compatible just has a different final drive

 

thats what i was thiking but i just wanted a 100 % answer im looking for a new or used tranny and i found some for an hhr ss for 750 bucks with lsd

HHR SS final drive ratio is 4.05

Cobalt SS/TC final drive ratio is 3.82

Cobalt SS/SS final drive is 4.05

 

Will bolt up just fine.

Check LKQ they might have it cheaper. I got mine for 500
