Correct, and with a much better feel of the vehicle, and how "hard" you are pushing it, thottle response increase. It is the same reason why multi million dollar companies (like Energy suspension and Prothane, etc.) are in business today. In addition why GM's Time attack cobalt had full rigid mounts, as described in the build guide.

My wife has one on her Automatic, you have much more firm shifts, better throttle response, and be able to know how hard you are pushing it around the corners.

If you think about it, its not possible to "lose torque" through "engine movement" assuming good condition OEM mounts;
define torque.

yes but thats not losing torque. torque is a twisting force, once it twists the motor over in the mounts it drives the car forward. its not lost at all, what the soft mounts create is a more numb response to torque as they are trying to dampen it to create a comfortable ride.

there is nothing wrong with stock mounts unless you are getting wheel hop, then there is a reason to upgrade.
