Tranny Finally Exploded (Clutch Slip issue)

ok so as everyone knows i have been having clutch slippage alot and i took it to my dealer to see if they could fix it and they said they could not get it to do it so anyways i went up to seele alabama the other night to a drag strip to see what my car would do its about an hr or so away i did 1 run clutch did not slip but i got a horriable time 15.6 was it well i parked my car after that on my way home i found out why my car only got a 15.6 i would go to hit the gas and rev go up and speed go up very sowly as soon as i saw that i decited to just take it easy i know something was wrong now iam about 2 hrs from home so i get about an hr from home and then BOOM a really loud boom i mean like a fricking explosion then its just like the clutch is non responsive i could push it in and it had tension but i could not shift at all like my tranny was locked up bad well this was at about 2 am so i called GM road side asst. and my wife she gets there b-4 the wrecker does and she was an hr away fyi i broke down in birmingham its a huge town i figured about 20 min or so to get a wrecker out there no i broke down at 2 am and they dident get there till like 5:30 am anyways he goes to put it on the roll back and the front wheels are locked up tight he finally gets it on the roll back and once he does we relize that the tranny is sitting about 3 inches lower then normal and all but 1 bolt is gone out of it. fluid goes every where when he gets the car even.

so i guess the moral of this story is that if your car is screwing up and your dealer says they cant find it MAKE THEM FIND IT.

my dealer is being nice becuase GM towed it to a local dealer and i hate the dealership that they towed it to so tuscaloosa chevy is going to tow it an hr back to here and fix it for me right this time.

also before anyone says well it must be your driving it was doing this sence day one that i got the car.

I agree with that statement 100%. Fortunately for me, the dealer in my area has a huge reputation to protect so that's the mind set they had with my car.

I never had a tranny blow, but I've deffinitely had it lock up. It sucked so bad, luckly I had enough forward motion to carry me outta harms way AAA will cover you up to 100 miles of tow.
