Tranny worries...

So I made a whataburger run last night for a taquito. ~12:30 so you know how I was feeling...

Anyway, I got my food and went to leave. I had shut the car off so when I went to start it my drunken self let the clutch out a little too soon. So the starter clicked but didn't turn the motor over. Quit stab of the clutch and turn of the key and she's running. Thus wasn't really concerning since I've done it before... Just a little prelude.

After the car started, I revved up a little and let the clutch out only to find I wasn't in gear. But the car started moving forward anyway... So I put the clutch in and heard a very loud pop. Let the clutch out slow and start creeping forward.

As of now everything seems to be working fine.

Ideas why it moved in neutral and what the pop was?

For the record, it wasn't an incline because I had been sitting there in neutral with no brakes applied.
