As the title says. what trans fluid would be acceptable for my car? i have a 08 2.2 5sp. and according to compnine.com its the m86. i have done hours of research but really cant find anything since in 07? dextron and chevy's "contract" or whatever went out now gm offers there own fluid for my trans. but all i can find is the part number, the dealer wont give me any details into what would be equivalent. apparently it used to be dex III H or equivalent. so based on all the info i was able to find i went a purchased mobile one atf dex equivalent.
Basically i need to know, will this work? Should i opt up for RP or another brand or what? ive always ran mobile 1 full syn 5 30 or val full syn 5 30 in my engine and it runs like a champ. im working towards 50k so i wanna change the trans fluid for self assurance, im also pressure bleeding my brake fluid out with new fluid. so can anyone tell me anything? sorry for the long paragraph of crap lol

 

F23 uses Dexron 3. atf.
