Thumbs up ZZP stage4 clutch review

put about 1700 miles on it now and i have to say i did not expect this type of driveability out of a clutch designed to hold 450ftlbs. i've driven a gmpp clutch and an exedy hypersingle and now this, the gmpp wasn't too bad but definitely didn't feel like a stock lsj clutch. the hypersingle...dear god, i felt like i had just got done doing a few sets of calf raises at the gym. the ZZP stage4 though, feels no stiffer than stock yet will hold(so far i've put down) 477ft lbs with ease. i'm very very impressed with this setup and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clutch. even if you don't plan on hitting 600wheel and 475ft lbs, you'll know it will be able to and won't have to worry about slipping. its roughly the same price if not cheaper than other clutches in the market but driveability i would say is unchanged. other than the cams i have in the car, i have no issues with sudden engages or disengages cause the car to jerk and buck. downshifts are flawless, as are shifts while accelerating. really, i have no complaints about their clutch and i would definitely reccomend it to anybody.

clutches can be found here on their site.

Awesome. Makes me consider their clutch once again. I thought it would be too stiff for my tastes. Good to know.

I have the exedy and the pedal pressure is VERY firm. Every time I drive someone else's car, I almost push the pedal through the floor!

yes thats why i love this one so much. holds the same if not better than an exedy but pedal travel is sooooo sweet. basically a stock feel.
