Trans maybe clutch problem?

I replaced clutch 850 miles ago with a gmpp lsj upgraded clutch. I noticed yesterday going through a toll booth a weird noise at idle only, in gear. And now it is a little hard to go into gear. Clutch isn't slipping or acting anything like it is but I didn't replace flywheel, I don't know much about transmissions or clutch, so not sure if that's what's wrong. It just doesn't feel right.
I'm on my phone so sorry if this was covered somewhere I tried searching, didn't find what I wanted.

Just trying to shine some light on what may be the problem before it gets worse. Does stock lsj flywheel handle power OK? I do have a TVS on car.

Did you replace your throw out bearing when you put in your new clutch?

Yeah I did. Just not pressure plate. Thought one came with gmpp kit but it didn't.

Sounds like maybe the disc is hanging up on the input shaft. Did it get cleaned and greased when it was out?

What is the noise you hear, it's only at idle when you step on the clutch or with the clutch released?

Only noticed sound in toll booth, clutch in. Can't really explain it, just didn't sound right. Not very loud just had an odd noise.
I had a shop do it but he probably did. After I got it from shop, it doesn't like reverse. Sometimes I put it in after starting car up go to pull out and it isn't moving. Push clutch in, put it in reverse and it grinds a little.

It's not really hard to go in gear, but it doesn't feel right. Next month I'm going to waterfront again, going to ask whoever has a Cobalt if I can feel theirs to see if it's the same.
Saw three Saturday but not the owners.

Also, I know the guy told me clutch was replaced before which is weird because my uncle got the car with 47k, I replaced clutch at about 51.5. Got it from uncle with 49. It slipped in second from the time I got it, to the time it went out.

^^^ what? GMPP comes with clutch disc, pressure plate and TOB. All you need more is a clutch pipe and flywheel with bolts if the flywheel is not good.

GMPP can handle anything you throw at it on a blower car.

He told me there was no flywheel. I had the rest though.

Sounds like a disc hanging on the input shaft to me, or possibly not releasing fully. Does the clutch pedal feel normal? If it's a little spongy and it's not getting full release travel on the clutch, you will get difficulty on gear changing. Shouldn't be the noise though, unless the bearing itself is failing.

When I get home Friday I might stop to the guys shop and just ask him what he thinks.

Alright so its still a little stiff going into gear, but the noise I heard I got out and listened. I think it's my exhaust hitting something. Lol. Looked under car and it rattles a lot so that is probably what I'm hearing, just don't sound right so I wasn't sure.
