how good are these transmission in the 05 ls 2.2L how much hp can they with stand? its a standard

 

They're rated by torque. The F23 is rated for 173 lb ft of torque, but there have been cars running way more than that without problems. The auto is really stout, don't have the numbers off the top of my head, but it's pretty good.

 

aint the autos rated for around 300 ?
