I'm driving showing my car off to my friend kenny I'm redlining 3rd then shift to 4th and then all of a sudden the wheels chirp and the car feels like I stomped on the breaks or like as if I downshifted and dumped the clutch exept the rpms weren't making the high rev sound as if I down shifted to a lower gear and I was in 4th! I was like WTF clutched out put it in N for a sec then back to 4th and it was fine WTFFFFF talk about ******* embarrassment! but what the hell was that?!?! why did it do that?!?

it sounds like you missed a shift. methinks you were trying to shift to fast and hit the brake pedal instead of the gas.

what do you do with your right foot as you drive? do you lift it to touch the breaks/gas or rotate?

rotate?? I lift i didn't miss it was in gear except the wheels chirped and for a second felt like i stomped on the breaks that's what it felt like but I know my foot didn't that's never a mistake as my foot rises up in the same spot over the gas when shifting

Did you push the clutch in as soon as it felt like you slammed on the breaks? honestly i think you hit 2nd because the reving noise doesn't come up as soon as you downshift. thats my thoughts. Or take it out now and run it through the gears hard and see if it does it again.

You probably hit the brake instead of the gas. If you went into power reduction mode your CEL would come on and it would say so in the DIC screen.

 

Well I sure hope so I don't wanna have to end up at the dealer for a fucked up tranny

 

This is also why I won't race cause I ALWAYS **** up 4th (usually I miss it lol) yes that's right I'm admiting it that's why I DONT race lol
