Both of my cobalts clutchs seemed to let out fairly high so I think this is normal. Its a hydrolic clutch and there is no way to adjust them that I know of, but mabey if yours feels wierd mabey there is air in the line somewhere. If they just did your tranny then there is a chance mabey they did not bleed it well.
there was a guy who had the clutch master replaced and the dealership bleadd the **** out of it and he said it seemed to fix it. as far as my clutch goes it actually varies sometimes low sometimes high. i have a friend who works for GM rebuilding transmissions and he said the hydraluic clutches feel funny and there is no way to adjust them. he did however say to make sure that you ALWAYS press the clutch in as far as you can get it on every shift or it could **** **** up. he said he's seen people who's floor mat slid up behind the clitch pedal and cause problems with shifting and clutch wear. he said 1/4" will make a differance with these clutches
Here's a link to the other kid's thread (the one who had the clutch master replaced)

Be sure to always press the clutch ALL THE WAY when ingaging. With hydrolic clutches, they tend to force the gear change, which in turn, grinds the clutch down. The thing I have found out with most factory supercharged cars, the manufaturere tends to skip out on the clutch and tranny when upgrading, thus costing the consumer trouble down the road. Too much torque for standard gear. You could have air in the lina as HViper suggested, but it should have shown up from the time you picked your car up. My suggestion is go ahead and upgrade your clutch to save you headaches later. You may also want to look at a higher PSI hydro pump, which will stay consistant.
