Will SS shifter bolt into my LS?

Hello guys!

I have lurked here for awhile now, I really like the shifter design of the SS's. So I am curious, would I be able to unbolt my LS stock shifter(ugly as ****) and bolt in the SS shifter from a stock 06 SS/SC? If so is there any other problems I will run into with it? Thanks in advance!

The short answer is no. Two different transmissions, so they're not really compatible. You could probably do some custom work to make it fit, but then you gotta ask yourself if it's worth it.

Thanks Xodus! Dang I was hoping that all the 5 speeds were the same, guess I am not in luck huh? I guess good thing I didnt buy the shifter. Idk though I may still buy it to resell. The guy selling it only wants 25$. Also just checked the B&M out looks pretty nice! Do you know if these work pretty well then?
