2.2 G5 dyno
well me and my buddy and his friend took our deltas to zzp to do some dyno pulls and for his friend to get some work done.
lets just say my car ran a lot better than i expected
Mods:
zzp midlength combo w/cat
vibrant 2.2/2.4 catback (2 3/8")
2.4 intake manifold
Weapon-r Intake
this was on a mustang dyno btw, if it matters
Max wheel horsepower: 161
Max wheel torque: 148
and if you notice they only ran to 6300rpm. the hp curve hasn't began to drop yet, so if it would have been closer to redline, i may have gained an extra hp or 2

you should def get that 2.4 mani, its awesome.
and btw auto cobalts are ftl
i can't figure out how to dyno this ******* thing. whenever you try a pull in 3rd gear the trans want to kick you back to second. thus screwing with the reading.

Well you put down in the mid 130's stock, so 160whp is a great boost. Was this including a dyno tune or just boltons on the stock tune?
i just ran across this. wish i had sooner. we'll see what mine runs w/ Injen in CAI mode, no aftermarket exhaust, 2.4 mani, and dyno tune with redline set to 7k.
sounds like it should be interesting. :-P
hoping for about 155

t think thats aiming a bit high. 2.2s are like 126-128 whp stock. ricer math in 12 for the manifold, 4ish for the intake and a handful for the tune, i would say 145ish would be more realistic. maybe closer to 150 if you're lucky.
you are letting the engine suck more air in efficietly, but not letting it get out efficiently. its like trying to eat like a champ at a buffet, but being constipated. doesnt work too well

those r the gm part numbers if u use those 2 sites, i'm orderin mine now and i hav an 05 so i have to buy the adaptert plate from CED while i'm gettin the other 3 parts from gmpartsdirect.com and the booster hose from auto zone and only payin $200 total shipped while the whole kit from CED cost $275 shipped so its worth the time to just search and find all the parts u'll need for ur yr

lol
