2006 Cobalt SS - Turbocharged - Work in Progress

Had to stop due to fuel pressure falling off. A better exhaust and more fuel pump coming soon. Congrats to Mr. Gibson. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

The race is over before you even get your boost up. Better spray ;-)

Edit: what are your current mods?

Impressive numbers. Porting the head is going to help you make that power on much less boost.

I'm sure it spools a little earlier on the street. Probably not a ton faster, but the dyno usually exaggerates the spool time.

i mean unless this is a 5th gear pull? but that tune either needs some help timing & tuning on lower rpms or he is using a 1970 turbo lol

Full boost at about 5600 rpm is aweful. What are the rest of your mods? Looks like it comes on strong in a range of about 600rpm or so. Like your pulling a trailor on the dyno the rest of the time lol.

For one don't hate on the tune. Tuner has tuned more cars than everyone that has commented on this combined. Second its a 4th gear pull. Starting at 2g. And lastly I have 4.45 gears and wot shift so once the thing is lit I'm good.

How can you sit there and say dyno queen when you know nothing about my car or myself. I have a potty mouth and the rest was edited

I was guessing it was the .82. Port the head and rev out to 8k-8200 and let it ride. That turbo is just begging to let some more air flow. Match that with a 4.45 trans or 6 speed and it will take some of the laziness out of it. Lag isn't the end of the world when you can rev out and have a little tighter ratio. I bet it comes on hard when the boost hits. And I'm sure its more streetable than the chart shows. I know my car on the dyno saw full boost about 300 rpms later than on the street.

Oh, then I bet its actually a pretty streetable setup. Shorter gearing helps overcome some of the lag.

I believe that was a built 2.4 bottom end with a 5858.
