Dyno'ed the 'Balt (w/ video/printout)
Well since my stage parts are gathering quicker than i had expected (with thanks to some fellow CSS.net members!) i wanted to get a baseline dyno run done.
I took the 'Balt where DBLBoost has gotten work done before (in case you dont know, he owns a 419whp turbo converted LSJ that's sexy as ****), Kesatie Motorsports in Sarasota, FL.
Before i get people bitching saying my car dyno'ed low, mind you he is using SAE Corrected numbers. I even asked him about that. He pulled up STD numbers, and surely, my car "dyno'ed" @ 215whp, or what most people in here claim they will pull.
Now, after i did my few pulls, we threw on a prototype TB that Matt has been working on. I will say that from just the short time i was at his shop, he was really professional, explained everything the car was doing on the dyno (the readouts and such, my first time on a dyno), and he has great experience tuning LSJs. Its a REALLY far drive to his shop, about an hour and a half (110miles!), but thats where i will be going to get my work done.
ANYWAYS, his TB...He has been working on this prototype and i was the first factory stock, or closest thing to it, he has encountered. Its been flowbenched and such. So we threw it on and we were pretty impressed. It did gain some peak HP, but it gained even more under the curve. I took the car out for a spin, and man, i loved it!! The car was so smooth and throttle response was AWESOME. My car didnt feel as herky jerky and the throttle response was...right now. He was also impressed that my car wasnt hunting around for the proper idle.
So, once my car it staged, i will be going back for another dyno pull and retesting his hopefully completely TB for some even higher predicted gains. And yes, he will be selling it.

Yeah, well i guess not TECHNICALLY bone stock. It has that stupid shorty AEM intake that they made. It was on when i bought the car. Just replaces the stock airbox, so its kinda just like an airbox mod i suppose.
