Dynoed The Caliber

So, I know you folks don't know a ton about my ride, but I figured I would give you some numbers to know so you can figure out what will and will not beat ya when "spirited" driving happens...

Dyno was a Dynojet...

Mine (Stage 1 and K&N Drop in) got 300 HP 301 Tq

I would post the chart.. but it appears I can't..:/

not bad. its higher than gms1 on our cars, but most have either trifecta or hptunes.

i think a ms1 caliber would be a close race to a gms1 cobalt due to weight diffrence n shuch.

My Friend did his, his is bone stock, got 279 HP 276 TQ... The problem with the stock PCM is that the throttle response sucks... you have to mash it to make it go...

My friend has an 08 CSRT4 on the MS1, Mopar SRI, and everything else stock and he dynoed on a dynojet and he got 340hp and 360lbtq living in Denver, CO. The bad thing about CSRT's is that they when they heat soak they loose alot of HP because he ran it 3 times in the dyno and the first pull he got the noted numbers before, second pull he got like 10 less horses and by the 3rd pull he dropped like 20 horses and torque!.

Those seem to be some severely inflated numbers with only MS1 and a SRI, who knows. To the OP, those are some good numbers.

IDK there were a crap load of balts that dynoed as well and they got normal numbers for being tuned and all talking TC balts also the SC balts were around normal for the numbers. so maybe his car just didnt get a good run but thats what he got we do have to look under the car and see if any exhaust work is done. He just bought the car like that and it was modded so ya.... you know dealer really sometimes doesnt know what is all done.

Dude the deal I bought my girlfriends Redline off of didn't have a clue at all that anything had been done. All they knew was that it had exhaust and the retards put a quiet muffler on it. Which through the car into limp mode. FK the car was so modded it dyno's @ 282whp. I found the original owner and he gave me a ******* LIST of mods on it.

Dealer lost

The Mopar Stage one will pull throttle at over 300 tq, cause thats what the tranny is rated for, there are ways around it (clamping with an FIC, ect.. but its not easy..)

So these numbers seem awfully inflated... its more like an MS1K (realtuned Tune) with a few other bolt-ons
