Dynotech SS TC 5557 Dyno

Took paintballerr78's car to the dyno today when I went (he had to work so a friend took it).

His mods are the P-Werks 5557 kit with an E47 tune and exhaust.

This was on a Dyno Dynamics Dynotech. For reference they had an HHR SS with GM stage 1 run yesterday and not sure how this works but it made 260whp in 3rd at 19 psi and 282whp in 4th on 25psi. My concern is the boost difference between gears and the high boost on this particular GM stage one, which makes no sense. Anyways that was just for reference. Off the street on 20 psi and 22* timing it made 377whp. We added some timing and leaned the car out a bit since the fuel trims were -7% on the dyno compared to the street. The car made more power as we turned it up but as we hit 23psi it started running out of fuel and wouldnt even make it to redline. I messed with the injection timing and we tried it again. It made it past when the boost came in, but popped a few times in the mid range and cleared up a bit up top resulting in 401whp and 375wtq at 23psi.

I will have him post the graph tomorrow, or see if I can get the pic of the graph from my friend that drove it up, and I have videos ill post too!

There it is! They said they can print out your other runs too. They were nice and smooth with no breaking up, just a few hp less.

Interesting. Do the BNR guys run out of fuel near this power level too? Didn't someone put down ~430whp on a BNR with E47?

Well whether this is true or not, most people say a dyno dynamics reads 10-18% lower than a dynojet. Just some food for thought. Either way it needs more fuel or something, as 23psi isnt enough

Yeah get some NGK's and make sure none of the boost leaks came back and if that doesn't fix it, its 5th injector time lol. I dont think there are any leaks though because it spools so nicely and doesnt have crazy STFT's like before.

At the point your at I think you could make more power on 93 oct, or do like a E30 or something. On the 5857 at 23-24 psi I made 430whp on zzp's dyno for comparison. Nice numbers either way tho.

We could try E30 again and see. Bryce made 6 more hp on 3 more psi but on 93, but then again this dyno dynamics may read low. For example I put down 328whp on this dyno, but on a little less dialed in tune I trapped 116 at the track on 26" slicks and nothing taken out of the car.
