I need to get a hold of a tuner. Should I go back to 60# injectors or stay with my 80# injectors? I have the same setup as the guy with 321whp and 277wtrq. I'm going to pm you.

Your def giving me hope that maybe I'll just go ahead and buy the TVS, My big thing is debating weather or not to go TVS or Tubro swap and honestly I would rather go TVS not just beacuse I already have the supporting Mods for it, But it's also Unique as well AND I'm really a Supercharged guy, I LOVE the sound and th Instant Power(No Lag) But Hey if you can make 321 WHP with NO METH and a 2.8, Then I think I'm in!
Not sure why I feel this way but I just dont feel like messin with the whole METH thing, It scares me running it pre-blower with the TVS bearings(horror stories) plus I dont know what the Hell I'm doing when it comes to METH either Lol

See, Thats exactly why I havent gotten a TVS yet, That seems really low to me, I would think with your supporting MOD's that you would have passed 300WHP on a TVS, But maybe I'm wrong for feeling that way, I guess I figure if I'm spending at least $1,200 on a USED TVS that I would expect to cross the 300WHP mark.
He is running 13* of timing....
The TVS loves timing and revs. With more timing, and some adjustments to the tune he will be over 300whp with his setup.
People on here always get stuck up on dyno numbers :shrugs:

re: GMPP exhaust.....
zrated89, one of the fastest TVS cars on this forum (12.1 @ 116) just happens to run the GMPP.
Something to think about!

Hmmm, See I would have thought that once you go TVS and pulley down to a 2.8 or 2.7 you would need to get 80's thats the set-up I see most people running on here with a TVS. If your telling me that I can get away with keepin my 60's and going with 2.8 or 2.7 and I won't be maxing them out then that would be Awesome, But why do most people run 80's then? Is it just because most people run e-85 with the TVS?

You wont be able to go any smaller than a 2.8'' with 60's. Mine max out at around 7300RPM. Luckily I usually shift around 7k so I don't have a problem with them. Any smaller and you will want 80's.

Just because people go fast with the GMPP exhaust doesn't mean its the proper exhaust for a TVS car or that they wouldn't do better with different exhaust, you guys are using flawed logic. There's no reason to believe 2.25" exhaust is the best option for cars flowing over 25(if not 30-35)lbs/min MAF.
Its the fact that you have mechanically driven induction that's seems to mask the inefficiency of the small pipes.

Ok, Thanks for the imput....I'm prolly just gonna get some 80's then because I'm thinkin that I only want to make one trip to my Tuner and he is approx 2 hrs away, So might as well just get some 80's so I can run the pulley that I want to run which will be a 2.7, You think that I'll be ok running a 2.7, 80's, TVS with my current setup with NO METH or e-85? I never do back to back pulls and I rarley even hit 7,000 RPMS?
If you tune a lil bit on the conservative side then a 2.7 would def work.

I feel like those numbers are weak for a TVS... I dyno'd 265whp with 42#ers, full magnaflow catback with gutted cat, K&n cai, 2.9 pulley (m62), and tuned by wicked.

I'll give you a hint (13*, 11.3 AFR, conservative).
People who think just bolting on a TVS will net you an easy 300whp are out in left field.
Without proper octane, timing, revs you will not see those kinds of numbers.
When the OP bumps up the timing and leans out the AFR a bit he will see over 300whp with his current setup for sure.
