Thumbs up Hahn s20g true results

So tune wise, ecm controlled boost with a conservative boost ramp due to octane!!

24lbs steady 26 spike.
A mixture of 91/89 octane for results that people could see all around. I said I would and I delivered. People could easily do 25-26 steady and more lean and make more power... I put the 20g on for my fellow as owners that asked..

Mods that count:
I used aem cai, 20g, injen charge pipe hot side, tread stone lower with maf relocate, Zzp ic ( you heard right Zzp lol) Hahn catleas dp, magnaflow dp, ky cluth.

Dyno:

Dyno jet, outside temp 89 *, I span on dyno and those numbers were horrid. All pulls I span bad but still made great power for the octane and slow boost ramp. Straps are loose and fan speed is 20mph lol.....

So since I told you these things. What do you think power is? I have the dyno slip and I will post in a few hours.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

As you can tell i tuned it rich, and i ramped the richness ( going from 12.6 midrange to 12.2 top top end!) For the conserve part of the tune!

http://youtu.be/U7ULrcK0AWw

here is the vid of how bad it was slipping. No matter what both lnfs that dynoed didnt hook.. So we got lower results. Time to get a better dyno place lol Btw numbers are horrible in this vid.. lol

Lol 398whp and 393tq . Remember it's 89/91 mixed fuel and slow ramp. I could get way more if e or at Lear 93

Good **** James,

For being a mix like that I'm impressed. The 20g is a well proven turbo in other platforms and in the LNF. Jeb, with one of our big turbo Sky's was pushing 450+ with his Sky and Hahn 20g setup. That's with a greater drivetrain loss as well and on E47. He will be making more here soon after some new goodies.

Lol it's my car . I put the 20 g on it... For purpose of people asking for real results . I put 89/91. In it to get a baseline number smaller then what actual numbers can be so you can see the honest potential around.... If I put. 93 in it, I'd make more of course. I didn't do e because doing e shows better results. But shows more potential because of the added timing and etc

For such a small turbo that's good number for pump gas. Id like to see track times though. What rpm are you seeing full spool?

I personally would like to see it run on a dyno dynamics or mustang dyno. I also believe in a car having an application for the power some are running. What is this for? Besides knowing that your a good tuner, will this be for drag? Track? Rally?

lol THIS setup is smaller then my original ful td06sh s20g with larger wheels.. I did this for the guys who wanted to see a baseline dyno of what the s20g would do on low boost (lowish) 24 -26. I did the octane because 50% of all gas stations dont have 93/92. And some dont even have 91. So i did the two of the mix. It hits full spool around 4200-4300 rpm ( its ramped in like this on purpose to for the octane reasoning) without the boost ramp i have it set at. I seen 3700-3800 average. Even showing these numbers prove that the hahn kit is well worth the money for s bolt on turbo!!. Thats the main reason i did it!

Why do you have it ramped so high? I have a 65lb-min wheel and I see full boost 3800-3900. I mean it's ball bearing with a ported top end but still.

if i spool at say where it should (3800) journal with the 89 octane and the heat soak. I was getting little doses of kr, so with the slower ramp i was able to keep the timing and have it a little leaner in that part. (this was just a 1 day thing btw) Meaning i just did it to cshow capabilies. People will see more. This was just ment as a baseline
