What classifies a car as an LSJ or an LE5 in the lists? Here are some examples. How would you put them in the list?

2.4L short block with LSJ head in a SS/SC car running an auto trans with and aftermarket ecu.

2.4L short block with LSJ head in a SS/NA car running an auto trans with the factory ecu.

to me a true le5 bottom/top would classify it as an le5. anything with a different top and bottom is a hybrid in my opinion and should be labeled as so.

That was my thought... however we'd need a "hybrid dyno section" with roughly one person in it lol.

Putting LS3 heads on your LQ4 doesn't suddenly make it an LS3. Food for thought.

If gen 1 block, regardless of displacement with LSJ head it is an LSJ

I don't think pulling the entire engine harness to run the LSJ head on a 2.4L LE5 would be worth the hassle, but that's just me.

Hell I'd call a supercharged LE5 a stroker LSJ lol.

These would both be in the 2.4 section.

So we classify by the block or the displacement then?
