All about the gear ratios.
3.38:1, 1.76:1, 1.18:1, 0.89:1, 0.71:1 are the gear ratios. 3rd gear would probably be the best. Closest to 1:1 without being overdriven.

so if you dyno your car at 2nd gear... erase your hp numbers cause we are all laughing at you
2008 Turbo Cobalt 307 whp 330 wrtq. Corrected. 314 whp 347 wrtq. Uncorrected. 3rd gear runs ( 4th ) is 0.89. It is an overdrive gear. I had it tuned back on Dec 23 it was bone stock then. It made 253 whp 247 wtrq Corrected stock.
Yea I hear ya. One of the main reasons I hardly ever am on here anymore. However, if people would use the internet as a resource for knowledge (rather than a venue to say things they never would dream of in person) members like you could add a lot of value to the overall reputation of the Cobalt as well as information to help out those who want to learn. I guess maybe the guys that are serious should start a new forum or something?
