Talking ZFR Dyno Results Finally :)

So today I went with my buddy Sean to get my ZFR set up on the dyno, the current mods that count are :

ZFR Turbo
ZZP Catted Downpipe
ZZP Full Intercooler Package
Stock Intake With K&N Filter
Stock Clutch
Stock Exhaust

Car was tuned with extreme reliability in mind by an awesome local tuner, didn't go all out with the tune so my numbers reflect that. I had the boost to ramp in slowly and it worked out well, Boost is set to 22-23 up top and timing is only up to 15 degrees.

We have a lot of room to grow, I need to figure out a solution for the stock intake tube, I tried putting the zzp intake tube on but it didn't fit and wont fit for shyt lol...Thanks ZZP , Timing and boost can be turned up to 25-26 psi which is where the zfr appears to wake up from the logs that I have done but I don't know when I will be waking it up never the less it pulls hard

A Stock SS/TC dyno'd there at 230whp/220wtrq

The Numbers were : 355whp/327wtrq

That must be a very conservative tune.
So glad you are happy though.

Very nice man!!! I'm making 360whp with the K04+ but maxxed out and since you're on a conservative tune making what I make maxed out that's awesome! I may have to try that and shoot for one or two PSI more than you.

Good numbers for such a conservative tune.

Correct, that is usually common with bigger turbos from what I seen, also the way its tuned commands for a bit lower torque numbers to avoid spinning out, breaking traction is no fun in higher speeds

Yeap Yeap, I can easily modify some stuff and get up to 380 maybe 400whp area

Aaron ! Buy a turbo already lol

Thank you sir I might be pushing a lil bit more power in the future but now I need it to be extremely reliable for the next month or so

It seems that a lot of people that get a bigger turbo try to max it out right away, I'd rather do it in stages if I'm going to, but reliability is a big factor for me now

And it still makes power all the way to the top and the torque doesn't drop that much at all

Congrats man! Glad you're enjoying it. That's a very healthy improvement over your stock numbers, especially on a conservative tune. lol

Ah ya. Nicely done. Who tuned it?

Crank it up a bit. I wanna see what it takes to get to 380-400 on 93 and full bolt ons.

I would say 26 psi , another degree of timing or two and replace the stock intake tube and I should be around that area for sure

My buddy Sean did, I just fine tuned the boost and timing the way I want it

Is that skewed at all? I'd expect more on the 375whp side maybe needs another degree or two of timing?

As far as I know everything is working properly and is working properly, I will be pushing it a bit more in the future just not sure when , a couple of degrees will help for sure.

On another note I posted the dyno video

How'd you get that CIA hotside to fit? I couldn't find a 2"-to-2.5" reducer in anything longer than 2" after scouring the Internet, so the only options I could figure were to either lengthen the turbo mouth or lengthen the hotside a few inches to meet the turbo.

Hey bro, check this site out, they have a wide collection of silicone couplers, reducers and joiners, u might be able to get a joiner as an extender
