First place I looked.

Thanks for the assist though. I didn't want to have a million clamps on it, causing more places for it to leak, so I didn't go that route. I ended up just getting the ZZP pipe. In doing so I actually reduced the number of places a boost leak could pop up, so it ended up being a win-win I suppose.

My CIA pipe may be up for sale soon now. I've got their pipes and their catted dp. They've all been great to me, and I've really liked their products overall - quality stuff. It's too bad though that they don't have the presence these days that they did before Beth left.

Yeah at 26 psi and 25 steady on my turbo gets me 360 so on 26 with yours you will for sure be closer to 400.

I'm really interested now. I never thought of doing less boost on ZFR. This is great for DD and the days you wanna track it you can go ***** to walls for a few pulls and show off! Nice, thanks for this info. To me it's invaluable.

Depending on what happens at the end of 2013 I may follow your lead.

Yeah man, even with low boost it still pulls nice and all, Its not a bad setup at all

Thanks bro, it pulls nicely especially with the way the power kicks , It doesn't kick in right away, ramping the power in is the way to go with the bigger turbos. I don't spin out in any gears at all, yet again that's the way I tuned all the gears, some people like to have the power kick in right away but I think it just puts a lot of stress on the motor and trans.

That's a tough answer to give due to quite a few variables and maf skew. My car for example put down roughly 350whp on the stock turbo running e47 flowing 35-36lbs/min, yet a turbo le5 I tuned running e85 put down roughly the same numbers flowing 40-42lbs/min. Granted ethanol in particular can and will skew air flow numbers but point is, you really can't always judge power output based on air flow over the maf.

are you talking maf or ve airflow? was the LE5 maf airflow skewed way off from ve?

I'm just wondering because I'm trying to approximate the power of my car, it's pushing 33 lb/min VE but the MAF gets jumpy up top so its anywhere from 35-38

Yeah the maf seems to get a bit jumpy on these engines. I have him setup on both sd and maf tunes. I don't typically tune for just one or the other purely for safety. Plus I like to run sd for smoother idle/spark control and for mild cruising. His maf and ve are both flowing almost identically though. He's a screen shot.
