is 2 10" Alpine Type-R too much for a Cobalt?

I was looking to upgrade my subs quite a bit and figured instead of doing a single type-r, go for 2. But is this too much to do? I had a single 12" type r before hooked up to an alpine vpower mono but i've never done 2 10" alpine before.

If the 2 10" type r's are okay to do in a cobalt, what size amp should I be looking for? I figured I'd do a 4 ohm load.

I was just making sure it would be good. So what should I go for then? 2ohmDVC or 4ohmDVC? I don't wanna spend a lot of money on the amp so idk if a 2 channel or mono is better.

If you dont have an amp already a mono is generally better in a sense it is more efficient. but also generally more expensive then a 2 channel.

Too bad you're in TX lol.

I've already got a 2 channel amp but its a power acoustik 900w crypt. I don't think it could push the type r's.

MAX Power 900
RMS @ 4Ω Bridged 1 x 400
RMS @ 2Ω 2 x 200
RMS @ 4Ω 2 x 150

Currently pushing a 10" pioneer from walmart and a 10" kicker intro sub.
Both SVC.

If I had to get a new amp i'd just sell my setup on a local forum.
