2 options

I have an 08 SS/TC with the pioneer 6 disc CD changer with the factory sub. I pulled my stereo out of my old car before I sold it, So I have a Alpine Type R 12'' in a .75 sealed box hooked up to a Rockford amp sitting around.

So I'm torn between hooking up the Type R I already have or selling that and purchasing a Shallow mount sub/amp to install in the factory sub box.

I loved the way the type R sounded in my old car, but the box takes up more trunk space then I'd like to give it.

How would a shallow mount sub sound in comparison to the Type R? Both options would be roughly the same amount of work?
The two shallow mounts i was looking at are the Kicker CVT 102 and the Alpine SWR-T10 Sonic Electronix - Compare Products

Opinions?

Yea, After some consideration, probably better if i hook them up and enjoy them. Then if i wanted to get my trunk back I'm already wired and I can just buy a shallow mount...

Probably easier to sell if I can demo them as well.

How much were you thinking of selling yours for? Just so I can get a approximate value
