could i take the cd player from a new model cobalt with the USB drive built in and put it in my car direct plug in? and if so where could i find one besides a chevy dealer?

 

Since your car is an 07, it's possible. Do you have the full Pioneer stereo in your car or just the base one? If you have the base and you get a USB unit from a car with the Pioneer system in it, your volume will be considerably lower, since you don't have the amplifier to pump up the sound.
