Add-A-Fuse?

Hey guys.

I should be recieving my radio tomorrow. The link for it is below. It's a Kenwood.

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-qP6VBV4...=detailed_info

I ordered the radio, the Monster cable to connect the radio to my Zune, and all the free **** included. I just got the free dash kit, not the one with the gay screen thing.

I was told that that's all I need EXCEPT an add-a-fuse by a fellow member on here. Anyone else have any info regarding this allegid add-a-fuse? Where do I get one? How much is it? How do I install it? And is there a certain one I'm looking for?

THANKS!!!

You will need a mini add-a-fuse and yes it comes with directions. Use the search feature. I tried to find a picture for you. I know someone has posted it on here somewhere. Sorry I could not find it. They run about 15.00 CAD here.

So basically, walk into *insert local parts store here* and say...? "I need an add-a-fuse to convert a 9v to a 12v"?

Not sure what you mean! Your radio is 12 v, your car is 12v. The add-a-fuse just alows you to tap into an existing accesory.

Well I was told that I had to get an add-a-fuse for my aftermarket radio to work. Because it takes more power.
