aftermarket deck

so i go into a store in SD called Car Audio Heaven or something like that and im looking for a double din FH-P800BT pioneer deck. they have one but they tell me that i need to buy a mount which is cheap but then they tell me i have to buy another thing that is 130 dollars so that i can have my door chime and my onstar work and they say that i have to have it. so this deck i can get for 250 dollars would end up costing me 500+ to make it work.
my question is do i have to put this thing that allows my onstar and door chime to work?

Yeah the onstar is a bitch
Personally I rushed to wire through the doors so I could amp up my front end and not have those chimes, they suck coming through the speakers like they do on 07 and up

^^ Hey whats the piont of being invisable if that big red light at the bottom of your posts tells everyone that your invisable

If you want to keep onstar you need it. It's a pretty good price, too

If your running 2 G5's and there not putting out enough bass then the amp is the problem not the subs. If its not the amp its the box.
What amp are you running, I read your post that states the box matches the specs for the subs so...it might be the amp or the install, depends on how they have them wired

that makes no sense. hardwired means they cut the harness off and went at it with the wires. If thats the case thats retarted. if your talking about them using the cheap harness then thats all good
