I have a 2009 Pontiac G5 GT with the Pioneer Premium Sound System.. with Onstar/XM Capability/Steering Wheel Controls..

I wanna put an aftermarket AMP and HU into it instead.....

What wiring harness do I need???

The Exact one please... I have tried a couple with no success...

GMOS-LAN-04 for the headunit.
PAC-SWI for the steering controls.

There is a sticky for this..

Thanks. One More Question about the steering wheel controls... do you only lose the radio side of the controls or do you lose both sides... I could care less about the radio controls but I know we need the menu controls for the cruise and DIC menu???

all my controls still work to include my onstar..funny thing is my installer called onstar to get some code for something and she said to him "after you install the aftermarket head unit you wont be able to call us anymore" and he says "im using the aftermarket head unit to call you now, its already in the car" and she says "oh........." the silence was epic.

No you don't lose anything if you use that interface. If you didnt, you'd only lose the radio controls obviously.

Thats hilarious! not sure what code he'd be calling for. My onstar still works but I let that subscription run out 3 years ago lol.
