Aftermarket Subs with Factory Amp...

I want to put in either of the 2 subs I have into the Stock Pioneer system...

I have a Kicker Comp 10" or a Top of the line Ultimate 10" sub...wondering if the stock amp will power either of these and have it sound better (more bass) than the stock Pioneer one?

doesn't have to shake my car apart, but more bass than stock is the goal...

well dude I wouldn't do that simply because u'd have to find the olhm rating plus u couldn't wire up the subs differently because of the wiring set up in the back plus the amp is going to delivier the same sound either with a kicker and eclipse a pioneer or anything it's simple u want more bass get a bigger amp and a better sub thats what it breaks down to

i would suggest getting a different amp for your sub setup. useing a factory amp is never a good idea but for the factory sub.

and if u want clean signal i would suggest getting a new headunit.

never ever do that. yes most stock amps have a different ohm rating so you would have to drop your sub ohm to whatever to match that. you would also blow that amp up and your regular stock speakers would sound like ass because your draining so much power for the subs. just get a seperate amp that powers the sub just fine.

how about wiring a seperate amps and subs off the feed for the stock?

in other words, i yanked 2 12's and a 600w amp out of my truck and i'd like to tap into the factory for a signal (via line converter) and remote line and since the battery is right there & i still have 20 ft of 4ga wire and my yellow top, it shouldnt be too hard, right?

i know my preier HU would be cleaner sound but i like the stock look and LOVE the steering wheel controls.
