yeah dude not to be a douche but ur amp is gonna suffocate lol.. it does need to breathe bro. You might think about doing a false floor if ur going the plexiglass route. If you do a false floor it would look so clean and you could incorporate air hole/ducts that wouldn't be seen. that amp rack/box looks a bit too big for the amp. JUst my 2 cents.

I had the same concern even though you are getting air to your amp it will still overheat, and go into safe mod and stay there until it cools off need to rethink that dasign, looks good though.

yeah me and a friend got board in our shop one day and said what the hell and built it.....so far no problem as far as overheating or anything......but building that gave me more ideas for future racks....but i love the enclosed look....so definately going to keep building those......so what do you guys think would be the best way to allow sufficient air in and out of the box

u could make a false floor. That way it has so much more space for air to travel.

Enclosed boxs are not a good way to go with amps. Just make sure what ever you build the turbine (fan) on the amp has a direct flow of air from the out side. Migh put a few more vents, and fans on the box.

I really wish they would mount the head unit on the bottom half of the filler unit so that when it's open it didn't block the vents. It's a pet peeve.
