wow, what are you saying? if your asking how to hook up aftermarket subs to the stock headunit, then you just get an inline output converter. tap into the rear speakers and then hook up your amp like normal.

I have an aftermarket D class amp hooked up through that same converter but through the stock sub and it hits nice. Only problem is that like all GM headunits, when you raise the volume the bass drops off a bit to save the stock speakers from blowing. Still sounds nice with a Massive D class 1,000.1 Amp and Two 10" Fosgates. And it's setup so that when I decide to go to the track I can take the box out and plug the stock sub back in and it will work fine.

Do the rest of the speakers in the car have enough oooomph to hear over that much power? I'm considering sticking with the stock hu for awhile too so I can save some money. I've got the trunk stuff sitting around, all I need is a line output converter...

Oh yeah..The amp is just pushing the subs for bass.. The rest of the speakers are now just used for highs and mids..Sounds real nice.
