anyone ever realize

how much rattle our cars have lol, I just finished installing my system today, and wow... it pounds but the trunk rattles like a ****, oh well brown bread here we come

Make sure you put what ever it is your going to use in the gap between the two sections of metal in the deck lid. A towel will work foam will work and I used carpet underlay, it worked.

You should however invest in some kind of sound deadner product. I have a mix of Dynamat Extreme and Hush Mat, the Hush Mat is half the price and way easier to work with

i get a good deal at work on brown bread, that coupled with some foam has always worked for the cars i've installed on!

yea my cobalt still has the stock system and even that makes it rattle but i have come to learn over my past 4 cars that ALL CARS rattle its just normal...only way to really stop it is to use dynamat...or something along those lines..what kind of system did ya put in??????

best part of it all, is looking in my window... its completly stock looking, even my volume control and sub control are hidden!

well so far i've isolated the trunk as the main source, so we'll start with that, and go from there, I might end up doing the whole vehicle though, but we'll see with the trunk first... non the less the system does sound good, just a minor rattle ... *ahem* when shes loud and thumping

umm I dunno I like the amp powering my subs, its the 03 model but it is an awesome amp and great pairing for the sub and the 4 ch is 07 model i believe...

ya im just saying the new 07 or even 06 models look a million times better then the older ones in comparision

lol well gl with that one. I was afraid of taking mine of (no sunroof) but it wasn't too bad. i wouldn't even want to **** with the headliner with that sunroof

lol thats how my carpet is with so much wire. im surprised the side panels haven't popped off yet
