Unhappy Weird noise from back window on 2.2L LS Sedan

Got my new 2005 Cobalt LS. YEAH!!!

Anyway, I have the car for about a week everything seems to be going well, which it is. But on my way to San Diego the other day I heard this weird wind noise coming from behind me. My first thought was to make sure all the windows were rolled up, which they were, but the noise kept going. I didnt have time to look at it right then and there so I waited til I got home.

When I got home I told my friend to drive my car down the street doing about 30-40mph since that is when I could start hearing it. I sat in the back seat and was just listening. The noise is louder in the back seat so I put my head up against the driver side window, the smaller window behind the normal window. Sure enough thats where the sound it coming from. I told him to speed up a lil to confirm my thoughts, and they were right.

Funny thing is I didnt realize this was happening before I got my windows tinted. But I asked the guy who installed the tint if they remove any of the windows to put the tint film on and he said no. I probably didnt realize it because I usually drive around with the radio on, like and other normal cizilized being.

IT'S PISSING ME OFF!!!! Everytime I got faster than 30-40mph I can hear it. Its almost as if the window seal has a hole in it or something. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem before I have to take it into the dealer.

Thanks for your input.

Hey let me know what is up, I heard the same crap. I thought it was the radio?

But I turned it off and noticed the same thing. I really haven't invesigated it too much, but let me know if you get an answer from the dealership.

i had that problem, with my sedan. the dealer told me that GM never sealed the window from the factory. so they just sealed it and it became silent as it was suppose to be. mine was coming from the passanger real quater panel window, if that helps
