Anyone have a pocket under there radio with a door on it?

Hey whats up guys,
Ive been tossing the idea around of modding the pocket on the dash kit.I have a pocket with a door laying around and im thinking about putting it in.Have to cut the back of the dash kit though. No big deal.Anyone have this done? How do u think it will look?Heres a pic of it.

That would be cool if you could do something like a Scion where the radio is covered by double din pocket. You'd have to make something from scratch most likely but it will still be sweet.

no bueno... does your pocket have anything on the side you can screw into? your best chance and making this work is probably going to be the double din/ double single iso adapter offered by american international

Yeah it has screw holes on the side of it.Shouldnt be that bad.Thats if i decide to swap out the stock deck though.I was thinking of throwing in the deck in the picture. Its an old school kenwood excelon kdc-x911 with the motorized face plate. It was the **** back in the day.

I put my pocket above the radio and put blue led's in it. ppl say it looks sweet riding next to me. I have led's there and under the a/c controls. Just enough IMO

Door would be sweet if you could pull it off

ya i would try the double iso so it looks best. cutting a single din adapter would probably look much worse and be alot more work
