Audio Issue. Please Help.

Hey guys, I just put my 2 12's and my amp in my car this morning and I have a problem. My amp seems to not be communicating with my subs to give them the juice. The amp powers on fine and everything can be programmed through the after market H/U. I have no idea what the problem is and would appreciate any input anyone has to offer. Thanks in advance.

Did you try opening the box to make sure there is wire running to the sub?

i had that problem if its the same one i had in the back of your head unit you should have 1 output plug that says subs...you will need a female(i think thats the right1) to turn that 1 output plus into 2 so you can run the rca wire to the back of the headunit

heres the link of the adaptor that youll need if thats your problem

Well guys I had this whole system hooked up and working great last summer and I re-installed the same way I did before. RCAs are brand new. I just opened the new pack this morning. I'm baffled. I have no idea what the problem is. Speaker wires are good, no positive/negatives are crossed.. IDK.. Thanks for your time guys, if you need any more info let me know.

My H/U does not have Mono, it has the 2 input ports for left/right. Thanks!

Maybe check your sub-out setting on the headunit......it might default to "off" when the unit has no power or when you reset the headunit after install...
