this was my christmas present, and i've had it installed for about 3-4 weeks now. while i really like it, i will say it can be a little glitchy at times (doesn't always see my ipod, and i had the screen not want to 'work' one time. turned the car off then back on and it was fine). all in all i really like it. people will complain about the start up time, but seeing as i'll typically let my car idle for about a minute anyways, it's not a big deal to me. sound quality is good, the screen is fairly responsive all in all, though it could be a little better, and the nav is decent enough. i wanted it mostly for the ipod aspect rather than nav. i'd recommend it.
I can't wait to get mine. Bought it on ebay from some electronic supplier for $610 + Free shipping. Shipped out today, so hopefully I will be able to get it in this weekend, it should be here on friday

all in all, i'd give it probably a solid 8. the annoyances are outweighed by how useful it can be, and the fact that i'm probably spoiled by my ipod touch. lol. gps is nice, ipod is awesome, sound quality good, msn direct is actually pretty spiffy, gps is fast and always on, and the unit looks really nice both on and off.
me being a details person, i find the interface is a little bland and rough around the edges, but, it works, and it works well, so it's easy to deal with.
