Exclamation Avic-X930BT + 06 Cobalt ss/sc

I have the stock radio out and haven't lost any chimes or anything, but my trouble lies with matching up the wires needed to make this install complete. I would rather not buy any extra harnesses unless needed, so what shall I do?! I am trying to hook up an Avic-X930BT to a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC..

Thanks for the help!

buy the harness and dont be a cheap ass. a 10-15 dollar harness will make ur life easier so if you havent dont cut the wires and order the metra 70-2103

Yea, unless you have a reputable wiring diagram (which doesn't seem to be available), or a meter and a tone generator, I don't recommend butchering the harness either.

I picked up a harness from a local dealer and I got it all working properly, my only other question is (and I now it's on the forums somewhere) how do I bypass the e-brake I have a switch hooked up to it and it works fine while it's off, but when I am in motion it seems to know and cuts the video and resumes the video when stopped and the e-brake is still off.

You have to move a pin on the harness, and run the ground wire to a switch
