I just wrote the same thing in the other thread but, I don't remeber what size it is offhand but it's metric. If I remember tomorrow I'll look in the garage and see if I still have the baggy the nuts came in.

I don't have the size, the nuts didn't come in baggies like I thought they did. I can tell you that its either M6, M8, or M10; just go to the hardware store and see which one looks like it's the right size, or if there's 2 that look close just buy one of each and see which fits, they're only gonna be a few cents each.

I have the ground going to the bolt where the battery grounds to the chassis.

The correct answer is, disconnect it. But, I won't comment on whether I did or not

With amps that have recessed power terminals like mine though you have to be careful the positive wire isn't hot when you hook it up since if it's hot when you hook it up you'll get a big spark since the area surrounding the terminal is ground. I left the inline fuse disconnected when I did all the amp wiring and connected it when I was done.

Yes but I would suggest that you disconnect the negative battery cable. I have a fair amount of experience with car electronics and car audio and its stupid for me to do the install without disconnecting it. Since it seems you're inexperienced by your questions I would disconnect it just to be safe. No sense taking out your pcm just b/c you didn't feel like disconnecting the battery and messed up.........

Yeah, just remove the negative battery cable from the battery or just unbolt it from where it connects to the chassis. You have to unbolt that cable anyway to ground the amp so just unbolt it first then re connect it with your amp ground cable installed.

Yeah it probably will spark a little, but nothing to worry about.
