buy insignia dual 12s with amp, 150, lower when its on sale in usa. i have it paid 150 in canada, works fine, it bumps, and sounds good. all you need is the box and amp kit. i recommend it if ur not putting ur music at the highest volumes. bought it 4 years ago.

yes , and i have my gain at half and sub control at +6. lots of ppl think i have a expensive system and when i tell them no they were 150 from bestbuy, their like wtf... but if you do get it, do not use the supplied screws for the subs, they are too short and will not hold them in the box properly.

Arc Audio...middle of the road pricing IMO...not cheap but not crazy expensive like some of the really high end stuff.

I dremeled my stock box out to fit a 12 inch p3(I think) fosgate shallow mount sub and got a small fosgate amp pushing it. It bumps nicely. And I still have all my trunk space.

That trunk comes in handy sometime haha. Dead bodies, kegs,6th person seating. U can pic the stock box up on ebay for cheep they all have the mounting holes for it. It's clean and not too pricey. But if ur on a budget I'd recommend spending it on one good sub n amp(always had good luck with fosgate) and maybe a ported box, rather than 2 walmart speakers.

I'm not the right guy for the task but a good speaker guy is wormy his weight in gold to know what size box, sub, amp should be matched.

Get a single 12 preferably square IMO, 1000 watt amp, and vented box. i got a square 12 brutus by hifonics ($150), a 1100 watt Crunch amp ($135), and a vented Kicker box used ($50), i cant see anything in my mirrors lol but yet the bass is so clean. really think its the quality box. u get what u pay for.

Sonicelectronix.com is a gr8 place to buy subs, and amps. One Rockford p3 12'' in a ported box with a rockford p300-1 amp powering it is a gr8 set up that will pound hard.

if youre getting kickers get the 12" L7's and match them to a good amp. car as small as the balt you would only need 1. dont waste money on something cheap that youll need to upgrade again. buy once. best buy isnt a speaker shop. go to a real audio shop.

I had a very hard time even fitting a L7 12 ported in my trunk because the box was so big. Just get 2 Kicker CVR 12s or 10s with a ZX400.1 trust me it beats really good a ZX400 is about 150 and get your CVRs here 90 per. Even 1 hits really good. The stock pioneer is only like 150 watts so with just 1 you can more than double the power. And I would suggest using an LOC coming off of the stock sub harness the lower 2 pins are the ones you want. I used copper plated alligator clips to push into them and then tape them up so they dont ground out.

AMP
Amazon.com: Kicker 10ZX400.1 (2010 ZX400.1) ZX-Series 400 Watts RMS Class-D Monoblock Amplifier: Electronics

SUBs
Kicker 07CVR122 12" CompVR Subwoofer (CVR122, CVR12-2)
