best low end sub

best low end sub

hey guys,looking to replace my factory pioneer sub in my 09 with a good low end sub adding a separate amp to drive it,prob 300watt.Current sub is dual 2 ohm voice coil,can I go with a staright 4 ohm,etc?Thanks

your going to need to use a shallow sub if your wanting to use the stock box, as long as ur using an aftermarket amp you can get whatever impedance sub to match the amp, if ur going to use the stock amp you cant bridge it or in any way connect the 2 channels so DVC 2 ohm would be the best option in that case

thanks emperor,was looking at an alpine shallow sub for the factory box but wondering if there is a better one with more lower end frequency specs

they are all very similar. in terms of low end i wouldnt know, i just would just stay away from the pioneer shallow
