Spyware slows down ur computer along with viruses and tracking cookies and all that ****. You also probobly have at least 10 programs opened up in the background that you dont need. You may not even know they are open and thats whats slowing ur computer down.

Trust me, im computer savvy, but im just waiting for some ************ who knows more to critique my ****. But follow these steps to make it run faster if its really slowing down:

1- Hold Alt-Control-Delete

2- A window will pop up, hit the "Processes" tab twords the top.

3- What you are looking at is all of the processes opened up and running on your computer. Some are system components, others are user components, and others are network components. What you do here is click "User Name" To sort all of the processes by what is using them.

4- Now go to the ones that say "User" or whatever ur name is, and u can close all of the ones that say "User" except explorer.exe and Taskmngr.exe. If you do, its not the end of the world. If you close explorer.exe you will lose ur start menue, so hit alt control delete again and go file, new task, and just type in "explorer.exe" and it will load up nice and fresh again.

Follow these steps and ur computer will be running quicker

You missed coach you spam ****

On the spyware/slow computer topic if you go into the start menu and go to start up programs and delete them all it helps the boot up time
Then again so does a core 2 quad q6700 and 6 gigs of ram.
Sorry new computer, 30 sec bootup time rocks

^thats a nice setup. I bult mine like 3 or 4 years ago when dual cores just came out. Its still quick but for the same money today i can have a liquid cooled quad core CPU with 12gb ram. I spent 3500 on my PC 3,4 years ago. Today all the components are alot cheaper. Each of my video cards alone is 500 bucks.
