Big 3 again lol

Ok so, I'm doing the big 3 as most of you already know from my massive amount of questions lol.

Anyway, doe's anyone have a step by step how-to guide to do the big 3 in our cobalts?

And this question most of you will flame me about, but I'm still sort of a noob with this car, how do I get to the alternator? Because that engine cover is in the way, I think, and I don't want to just rip it off and not be able to put it back on.

I do not know about the alternator or anything but the engine cover should just come off. It probably just has a few clips or something like the rest of our cars. They are for sale all the time so they should go back on fairly easy too.

Its basically upgrading your wiring so that you can get more power from your alt to batt to pwer the audio

Can you take a picture of where it is, b/c I thought it was at the bottom too. So now I have no idea where it is

I have the wiring already, so I'm good on that, the only problem is that I don't know where the alternator is now

Yea, I just realised how to take it off(almost), had to take the oil cap off, but there is a clip or sumthin holding it down somewhere near the front

well you know what an alternator looks like most likely.. follow the belt and try to find it, pretty simple I mean right now i don't know EXACTLY where it is, but should be close to the top.

Nope, I have an LS the basic model...an I know it's in a different position than the SS, bt where? lol An there is something holding the engine cover down, right in front, bt it's not the oil cap. (Took that off)

the oil cap is the only thing that holds mine down, the alt is on the left side of the engine closest to the front bumper and if you look closely you can see the red positive terminal cover on the alt

Not so great, I thought I was gonna break it, b/c something is holding the cover down in the front. So I'm gonna wait till I get to the shop and see whats holding it down, don't have the tools I need at my house. I'll keep you updated though
