anyone know when its coming state side?

I don't know of any manufacturers making one in any market. Most monitors for automotive aplications are ony 420p. Your best bet is converting a small computer monitor to 12v dc and building a carputer with a blue-ray drive.

No panasonic makes one just wondering if anyone here knew when its coming stateside?

Exactly. Why would you want to watch blueray movies on a 4.5 inch screen? Use it for MP3s? Be cheaper to invest in an Ipod. It's a dream, and a dumb one.

Exactly, the quality on my in dash dvd player is perfect. Probably wouldn't even be able to tell a difference.
