anyone know when its coming state side?

 

I don't know of any manufacturers making one in any market. Most monitors for automotive aplications are ony 420p. Your best bet is converting a small computer monitor to 12v dc and building a carputer with a blue-ray drive.

 

No panasonic makes one just wondering if anyone here knew when its coming stateside?

 

lol probably half past never. as far as HU's Japan always gets the good **** first and its lucky to dwindle down to the states

Exactly. Why would you want to watch blueray movies on a 4.5 inch screen? Use it for MP3s? Be cheaper to invest in an Ipod. It's a dream, and a dumb one.

 

Exactly, the quality on my in dash dvd player is perfect. Probably wouldn't even be able to tell a difference.

 

there will be no difference... head units are not in HD

 

indash and ps3 slim in glovebox = blueray indash but yes resolution wont be teh best
