Bluetooth Connectivity
Hello everyone,
I am new to the site as I just took delivery of an 09 SS/TC. I love the car but I am having a problem with setting up my Bluetooth. I have a Verizon Motorola Q9c. I have followed all instrcutions on "Pairing" the phone and it appears to be paired correctly as the car recognizes my phone when I press and the Bluetooth button on the steering wheel. I have got to the point where I will say "Dial" (or call as I have set up one name tag) and I hear (Through the speakers) "Ok dialing using Chris". At this point the radio comes back on and I never get a connection. Has anyone had any experience with this? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Have you checked to see if the BT on the radio is compatible for your phone? It might not be. It could also be just a bad pair. Have you tried to pair it multiple times? Also if you have another phone try it and see if it does the same thing.
I took a look at the Bluetooth GM website and found that the Q9C is compatible through Sprint. I have Verizon so it appears that mine will not work. I will try and delete the pair and re-pair the phone anyway to see if there is anyway to get it to work. Thanks for the advice.
you can actually just say "dial whoever" or "dial ###-####" all in one breath and it should skip the part where it asks you for a name or number... check to make sure that you recorded your contacts name clearly as it might be interfering... also, i find that alot of things in the car can really mess with the clearity so try making it work without anything on, including A/C and things like that.
Ok, so the plot thickens with this damn Blutooth. I get in the car this morning to make a call and then suddenly, the sound comes in over the speakers in the car just like it should. Then about 30 seconds later it cuts off and I lose the call. I tried it again and it did the same thing. Has this happened to anyone?
Yes it is. I just took delivery of the car on March 12. I was going to try pairing it with differnet brand of phone that is listed on GMs site to see if it works. If not then it's back to the dealer.
Hey whats up.I have verizon service and had no problem pairing my cell to my 09?I ended making sure that I was in my driveway rather than in the garage where it usually sits and it worked fine.Hope this helped.
Well this weekend I paired a friends Blackberry (Verizon) to my car and it worked like a charm. I would just write it off as "The Q9C does not work with my vehicle" but I have a hard time accepting that since it does work for about 30 seconds.
