A MTX 600 is a decent amp. Kicker, Rockford, MTX, Alpine, Digital Designs are some other names of decent companies. Stay away from Lanzer, Pyramid, Legacy and name that sound weird lol

yes. any speaker will sound louder facing back. the further back the better (within reason... give it 4" or so)

extra 50w. you should be fine but it just increases the margin of error. set the amp correctly and dont completley crank the volume all the time and they will last for a long time. every sub will blow if its used incorrectly.
