a/c not cold enough

a/c not cold enough

Hey guys ive had my 2.2 for like a month now, bought it brand new and since pcking it up the a/c dosent cool as well as the other vehicles ive driven. could my freon be low from the factory? do the cobalts have a weak comprssor? dose anyone know of a cheap way to make your a/c ice cold?

Mine is cold but it doesn't blow that hard. Definitely one of the downmfalls of my car.

my a/c worked great until a damn rock landed in my condenser. And now the dealership wants $600 to fix it.

Last summer I remember my A/C being painfully cold. Now my A/C struggles to cool the car off.

Thats wierd mine will freeze you out after about 10 minutes! I mean its soo cold I HAVE to turn it down! Hell I get out of it and my glasses fog up!

LOL! There is no Freon in our cars. They don't use that anymore in new cars.

But yeah we are probablt low on R-134A.

Last year I used to have to turn mine down all the time, and it seemed like it blew cold immediately. It also feels like the fans in my car are weaker.

Mine has the weakest motor, i get like NO air flow if i put the vents on both the top and feet.

Mine works fine. Altho my girlds cavy jsut **** the bed in the AC department. gotta somehow fix that, any ideas?

there is freon our cars ya goober.. I had to take my to the dealership to get more, cause it got bumped during the clutch install

Take out your cabin air filter. I did that and that made a hell of a diffrence. I believe your suppose to have 1.2lbs of freon in our cars. There is a sticker under the hood that will say how much. You may be low, but you also may have to much and it could be freezing up. You could have water in the system, or air. Anything is possible.
