Can you hook up subs/amp to stock ss/sc deck?

Hey guys,
well basically, does the better stock cd/player/mp3 have sub preouts? Mine came with a sub, but it doesnt sound that good. Planning on leaveing the stock deck in, but have my 12" sub (in fiberglass box) and Apline V12 amp to hook up (from my last car).

Now if the stock deck doesnt have preouts, how do you go about taping for the signal? I did it once, but that was 8 years ago on my old car..lol.

Thanks guys!!
Nate

It allows you to tap into the speaker wires and converts it to RCA Cables so it hooks right to your amp.

yeah it takes the signal from the speakers and filters out the highs so that the sub has the right freq to play. Be carefull though, expect alot of distortion from the stock HU
