Cobalt 10" sub

I know that you can get the cobalt and it comes with 10" subs in the trunk. mine didnt come with it so i was looking around and i cant seem to find them in the GM cat. Soo i was wondering if u guys knew where i could pick a pair up and also if i need an amp or special wiring for them

You can't get a pair its molded to the left side of the trunk.. Look around for a used one and you need a amp.

On a side note, do the non factory equipped cobalts have the necessary mounting holes?

Good question.. Not sure, But i would just buy a after market sound system it would sound a lot better. Unless you need the trunk space

You can buy them on ebay from LKQ. I did when I had my G5. You will need an aftermarket amp.

Make sure you use an aftermarket headunit if you're looking to get the best performance out of it. Preferably one where you can set the rear speakers as sub signal only and adjust/tune accordingly.

My factory Pioneer system bumps SO much harder now that I swapped out the OEM headunit with a Pioneer double din dvd unit.
