couple of stereo ?'s

Is there any way to just get more bass out of the stock sub?

Would it be possible to put a fold out screen in the spot under the factory head unit? you know that piece of plastic that looks like it would be a tape deck or a clock.

Is a aftermarket deck really worth it? does it make the factory speakers sound that much better?

From what i've heard... an aftermarket deck is twice as good for the cound quality!
The problem with an aftermarket deck is that they don't look as good as the factory deck, and if your a noob at installs, your probably gonna have problems finding the right parts to do the job.
Here is some good advice if your wanting to install an aftermarket deck -> use the search button!

As far as getting more bass out of the stock sub... not worth it.. go buy a decent sub and amp if you want more bass.

The screen... anything is possible. A fold out screen down there would fold up in front of the stock deck though, and the view angle would be crappy. So keep that in mind.
My 2 cents is if your wanting to go buy a screen, get a dvd/cd-screen combo and do an install in the factory deck location. Remember, use the search button.

I agree that you better off going with aftermarket as far as the sub and amp go

uno questiono? =)

i have the pioneer system with the tweeter and sub, i put in my own 12 and amp and put it to a switch for when i want it on or off. My question is though, when i change my headunit to aftermarket, are the tweeters and sub pre-amped? Cuz i was wondering how wiring the aftermarket would go? because i love being able to choose between my 10 inch or 12 inch to be used.
